MOOR GUIDE

What is MOOR?

MOOR is a local-first personal operating environment for useful digital capabilities. It combines a workspace, marketplace, library, project system, and creator studio so people can move from an idea to a working digital tool with less friction.

What problem does MOOR solve?

Digital work is fragmented across app stores, cloud subscriptions, loose files, browser tabs, and tools that disappear when an account or service changes. MOOR treats useful capabilities as things you can understand, keep, arrange, reuse, and build upon.

How MOOR works

Discover

Browse reusable apps, skills, scripts, templates, data starters, and integrations.

Own

Keep acquired Assets in a Library instead of losing them inside a temporary feed.

Use

Open eligible apps inside MOOR or install verified packages on the local device.

Create

Start from a foundation, change it, package it, and publish a new Asset.

Why “local-first” matters

In MOOR, the base workspace belongs to the device by default. Network access is a capability, not a prerequisite. Marketplace ownership, publishing, payments, and optional sync can use connected services without making the cloud the owner of the personal workspace.

Who is MOOR for?

MOOR is for creators, builders, independent operators, and curious people who want the power to shape their tools without having to become package-management experts. Its design principle is simple: power for creators, simplicity for everyone else.

Current availability

MOOR is an early-access MVP. Core journeys are actively being built and validated; independent security, accessibility, load, backup, payment-provider, and broad desktop compatibility gates remain separate from repository-level automated checks.
